Choose your desired outcome

Driving in my truck i think alot, I began to think how this nation (America) became what it is today due to slave labor, and even though slavery is over how we enslave ourselves by giving in to our fears. I see people hustling and bustling to their undesirable jobs. Some are desired, but I'm talking about the majority. The ones that don't feel appreciated at work, keep pushing snooze till the last minute, only working here because I need the money, would quit in an instant if they won the lotto people, That's who I'm talking about.

Yes its a blessing to have a job. Instead of using this as a stepping stone to our destiny or dreams, we get comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Denying ourselves a free and fulfilled life living our purpose, keeping up that slave culture thru self enslavement.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, so I won't say this was some plan by the rich elite to hold the common man down. I will say that where we come from as a nation possibly had an effect on how we think, or react in certain situation's. I write this to say if you have a aspiration or dream don't give up on it, implement that dream into your everyday life and live the dream, don't worry yourself on the details of money. A World Living It's Pupose

pic from familyonbikes.org
While driving today I noticed the different cars and people going to their different destinations. I noticed how few had the look of peace and content on their face, the look was one of tension and stress. I thought this is wrong, how and why are we going somewhere that's causing such pain and dis-ease?. Then it hit me all at once. Instead of waking up in the morning chasing our purpose we are chasing a dollar, I know this because I'm guilty of chasing profit instead of purpose myself.

Our culture in this day and age is full of the bling, bling culture. The man or woman with the biggest newest car is respected no matter that their one check away from being dead broke, "they sure look good!!".  It's so bad, even the smartest people in finance cant get it right and need to get bailed out by the Government.

So imagine this. What if people didn't worry about the big shiny car or living in the biggest house?.  What if finding your purpose was the most popular goal?. How would that make the world different than it is now?. I have a few ideas below on how I think some thing's would be.

  1.  Child rearing: Since living our purpose would be the most important thing in society, It would be priority for mothers and fathers. Especially for mothers In a child's infant years, to have more time with their offspring. The first two years of a child's life  are crucial and very important to develop healthy attachment bond. Without it, studies have shown it may result in a severe personality disorder. With early bonding it offers a child it's first model for healthy intimate relationships and gifting the child with a sense of security and positive self esteem.  No more nannies or day care in the early years of life.   Chasing a dollar causes us to deny our future this priceless necessity.
  2.  Education: Another very important path society can take in making purpose the number  one goal. First of all there are thousand's maybe million's of people who's purpose is to teach but aren't because their chasing riches and status, and are forced to forgo that dream due to the fact that teacher's just don't get the respect nor the resources that they truly deserve. But in this purpose driven society Schools would be State of the art, progressive development institutions, with an abundance of resources needed for employees and students.  The curriculum from elementary to high school would be on all material needed to determine each child's strengths, weaknesses, and interest, preparing them for college which will prepare them to live their true purpose and it would be free.  In a purpose based society this is the norm, when everyone is working their purpose they become prime assets to the world and themselves. No matter what their title from janitor to doctor because they would be their best selves.
  3. Society: There would be a certain sense of flow in the atmosphere. People would be living in Their!! reality not the Jones down the street.  I'm sure society would make adjustment's for people who's purpose wont make them rich. Although according to T.D Jakes "Profit follows Purpose". People will be happier living their purpose, studies show this significantly reduces stress and depression which also can discourage substance  abuse as reported in the Chicago Tribune. Just a few stats on stress and depression to show how big this change is.
  • According to the National  Institute of mental Health 17 million Americans a year were affected by depression in 1997.
  •  I the past 15 years  25 million American seek treatment for depression, 90% leave that doctors office with anti depressants. ( That's a whole different story).

These few Ideas and facts if not taken to heart, they should be at least taken into consideration. I'm sure I am not the only one who thinks the old way must change. That it's time to evolve into something greater for humanity.  I don't have all the answers not by a long shot but we have to start some were.  Some of my Ideas may seem absurd or crazy like free college, living your purpose no matter what type of financial security that endeavor may provide. As the saying goes "Be the change" and that's what I will do and hopefully many will do the same. How do you think the world would be if everyone lived their purpose?.

"If at first, the idea is not absurd then there is no hope for it".

RACE: "The real Illusion"

There is something brewing in the air, many of us can feel it like a change of some kind is coming. Out with the old, in with the new. With the revolts abroad to overthrow old regimes, the 99 percent protest, It's only obvious. All these social issues for change coming to a head, its only natural for this one very important and old issue to rear its ugly head; Racism.  Not only is this issue important to confront, but very necessary. How can humanity move forward, stand up against unjust systems, laws, and governments if we can't come together without these simple prejudices. How can we consider ourselves evolved or enlightened if we pre-judge people on their skin color, not their character, this is lunacy.

Let's make this one point clear. "THERE ARE NO BIOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES IN ANY ONE RACE"!. Every human being is equal, there is no superior race. As a matter of fact race is merely a social construct, something man created to separate, control, and identify groups of people.  It should be of no surprise when we have these senseless murders such as the Trayvon Martin case and the many other racially motivated crimes that never get public attention. It only comes as a surprise because many of us are existing in an illusion. We feel we are past racism as a society because different races of people work together, eat at the same restaurants, dwell in common social circles, even have happy relationships. Which is good, we have certainly come a long way, but there are some false beliefs that need to be reflected upon and changed, beliefs that hit the problem at the core.

We have the exterior of the issue somewhat covered but racism is something that's deeply ingrained in societies subconscious, "especially American society".  To change something that's ingrained this deep one must change his way of thinking, to change ones way of thinking he must be shown facts that disprove the old way of thinking.  Then it's up to the individual to think & live in truth or in a lie.

A Few Facts
With humans there are what paleoanthropist call phenotypic characteristics which is a composite of an organisms observable characteristics or traits. Each race ancestors come from different regions of the world, over time skin became darker or lighter and other body features evolved to be different depending on what part of the world they lived in and the climate. We identify each other by those differences, We are a species, "Homo sapiens". Our species originated in eastern Africa 200,000 years ago, Although new findings show it could have been up to three million years ago with findings of the skeletal remains in Ethiopia a three year old child that they call Salam. We came into our modern selves 50,000 years ago anthropologist call this time Behavioral Modernity, this is when our species began to express cultural creativity and perhaps developed social divisiveness.  That fact is very important especially when aiming to eradicate racism at its core.  Once you know that we all came from one place how can any "intelligent" human- being hate another over the color of his/her skin. When you know better you do better.

Solutions
Like it was mentioned earlier when you know better you do better. History of our species should be taught in grade school thru High school, along with history of the different cultures that developed over time. This would bring about a oneness among humans early in life, and diversity would be common place. Of course with human nature social groups will still form, but of like minded people or people who have the same beliefs. Not for the color of ones skin. This small, short sighted way of thinking would be no more, everyone would socialize not on color but on common interest.
People who have been put through atrocities such as slavery should be apologized to & awarded with some type of reparation. If not there will always be animosity  deep down against the white skinned (European) of our species with or without the knowledge of humans being one in the same, any one group that harmed another in any way must make things right as a peace offering and to show empathy and an understanding of this new way of thinking so healing can take place.

Surely these are not the the only solutions or facts that will erase racism of skin color, but one thing is for sure our way of thinking as a people must change and knowledge of self is a good starting point. If we do not there will be many more children, mother's, and Father's dead or heartbroken all because of ignorance that should have been confronted a long time ago. Especially by an "Enlightened People".  Please watch video below.

Trayvon Martin and all the other's who have been murdered in cold blood
because their skin was to dark.

2012 Change Your Perception

Ever since 2008 every holiday seemed to be just another day, just another day at survival and trying to make it. Another day of negative reporting on the news and negative news at the job.  At least that's what the masses have been feeling all around the world.  But why is it, Because they got laid off their job, Lost their home, or their hours have been drastically cut.  These are all reasons that would cause a person to feel down, depressed and at a all out loss. Not only has the last three years been full of stress and bad news,  But 2012 is plagued with being the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar If you believe that. Not including the real impending wars with Iran and with whomever else.

The Question is; is this all that bad. The answer is yes it's terrible but we cant allow all these tragic events and theories to disrupt our happiness.  When you take a look at the big picture from a birds eye view and remember what the truth of life really is, and that everything is always changing from the time we are born in this world.  There's a Hermetic principle called the Principle Of Vibration which states that motion is manifest in everything in the universe, that nothing is at rest, that everything moves, Vibrates, and circles. This has been proven in the science world also. We have been on a serious roll up until now and we thought that it would last forever but it couldn't so welcome to the big awakening.

We always have had recessions, but nothing like this since the great depression. But this time there's been an awakening of the people around the world. This is the time were we can regain the power that we the people are suppose to.  A sort of Evolution through Revolution and it's happening all around the world. This is a transition in humanity and we don't know which way its going to go, but I have a strong feeling that it's going to go the people's way and I'll tell you why.  You can't keep the beast sleep if you don't keep it fat and happy. You can't expect the masses to remain docile and happy if you screw up the economy through greed, Spend billions helping the Corporations that don't need help, or need to fail while leaving main street hanging with two scoops of benefit cuts with legislation that takes more of their rights away for icing on top.  With all major change there usually is some or allot of discomfort. Embrace change think outside the box your job and your house is not your lifeline.

There was a study done on prayer were they had priest in a monastery or some monks focus and meditate on a certain town over one thousand miles away. The study showed that the people were better of in that town than before the study. The Washington post states "prayer is the most common complement to mainstream medicine, far outpacing acupuncture, herbs, vitamins and other alternative remedies."  I bring this up to show that we are all connected and if we change our perception on today how it can effect the outcome of tomorrow. This is far more powerful than any recession, or depression. There would be no success stories out there today and it would be hopeless. Welcome to a new era and a new way of life, channel your inner greatness and prepare to witness and be apart of history.                             Happy new year!!

THE BIG BLACK ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

In life to move forward you must learn from your mistakes, it only makes perfect sense because if your not learning from your mistakes you must not see them as mistakes and you'll keep having the same problems in your life which is insanity.  I make this statement to bring about a old but previous situation in our country that some may gloss over and say it's in our past or we've outgrown it. But I beg to differ I'm speaking of Slavery and The effect it has on African Americans and America as a whole.
I think this is a subject that if approached honestly and with total compassion by Americans as a whole it should bring up some serious questions, Bring about understanding and maybe some guilt, But that's OK as long as these feeling's breed ideas and solutions to the problem.  Below you'll see an image that will be, Or should be nothing but disturbing to your soul but these images are a must to bring you back to reality and wipe away the gloss that time sometimes brings to a bad situation.
Rubin Stacey 1935 (An American)
If what we see shapes our reality then Imagine the pure ignorant reality these precious children grew up with.  Hate it or love it this is the roots of American culture and the only way to right this wrong is to go back and face this harsh reality and untangle this tangled web of ignorance and fear with Love.  The American authorities should face this reality and right the wrongs that were done to the black Americans.  Yes allot of African Americans have made massive moves to upper class society, But there are a disproportionate amount that have not made it and are just plane out behind the curb.
White Americans I believe have come a long way they did have a big hand in voting in Barrack Obama, There are some who's head's in the sand but I believe that there is just a divide between most blacks and whites from economic status and education, If your well of there's probably not to many Blacks in your community and if you have a educated background ther's few blacks you would come in contact with see that divide?.  This is an amazing topic when you think about it how would life be if we broke that divide and grew as a people. How amazing our country would be, The world would see that and follow suit. We would go from a fear based society to a love based society, Kinda like a old relationship that's been threw the storm, The ups and the downs of a relationship and evolved into a great team.  Maybe that was a lite analogy for 400 years of Slavery, Rapes, Kidnap, & Murder of a people but we are all creations of the most high and we all have the ability to Vibrate on a low as well as a high frequency. So If we think with that higher mind anything is possible, What are you going to do?..
